Customs, Duties & Taxes

All international extra-EU orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. The buyer is solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees incurred once the package reaches their country.
I, as the seller/shipper, am not responsible for these additional charges, delays due to customs, or packages held at customs. Please check with your local customs office for more information on potential costs before placing your order.

NON-EU Shipping Restrictions

Please note that due to import regulations, I currently unable to ship certain items to specific destinations:

  • Cacao: Cannot be shipped to Switzerland or the USA.

  • Herbal teas: Cannot be shipped to the USA.

  • Oils (including essential and carrier oils): Cannot be shipped to the USA.

  • Tattoo items: Cannot be shipped to the USA. Switzerland has shown mixed results, some packages are delivered succesfully, some others have returned and marked as “do not ship, banned item” by UPS. Purchase at your own risk.

At this time, I am unable to send any FDA-regulated products to the USA.
Orders containing these items will be cancelled or refunded if they cannot be shipped.

The only items I am able to ship to the USA at the moment are: tarot & oracle decks, journals & planners, candles

SHIPPING & RETURNS FAQ:

  • Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days, but depending on product availability, may take up to 21 business days.

    Please note that some items, such as tarot/oracle decks and ceremonial cacao, are made by small independent creators and ethical farms. Restocks can take time — this isn’t Amazon, and we prefer it that way :)

    We prioritize quality, care, and sustainability over speed.. While we aim for fast delivery whenever possible, I also do prioritize wellbeing, for ourselves, our partners, and the planet.

  • Info below is under normal circumstances, please note increase in lead time during peak months (november, december, january)

    From Portugal, via UPS:

    • Portugal: 1-2 business day

    • EU countries (UPS Standard): 2–6 business days

    • USA, Canada, Switzerand & Rest of the World (UPS Worldwide Economy DDU): 7–21 business days (customs clearance can add time)

    For fast track please purchase Express Shipping at check-out. If you have forgotten to purchase it and need it after your order has been placed, you will be invited to pay for it via paypal.

  • On rare occasions, packages may be delayed in UPS transit facilities or during customs clearance. This is unfortunately completely out of my control, and I kindly ask for your understanding. If your package is significantly delayed, I am very sorry about that, and I’m always here to help and will do my best to support you through the process where I can.

    All orders are shipped with tracking, and you’ll receive your tracking number via email as soon as your label has been created.

Important Refunds & Reshipments Information

Shipping costs and custom duties & taxes are non-refundable.

  • I take full responsibility for any order errors that are my responsibility. If your package is incorrectly packed, or contains the wrong item(s), you may choose between a free reshipment or a full refund.

  • If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from a pickup point or post office:

    • The order can be reshipped at the buyer’s expense, or

    • A refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost, even for “free shipping” orders.

    (Note: “Free shipping” means the shipping cost is included in the product price, not that shipping is without cost.)

  • If a package is returned or marked undeliverable for reasons outside of my control or responsibility — such as an unclaimed package, address not found, or carrier error — the order will be considered fulfilled correctly on my end.

    In these cases:

    • Eligibility for a refund minus the original shipping cost will be considered, or

    • The order can be reshipped at the buyer’s expense.

    (Even if your order included “free shipping,” this cost is built into the product price and is therefore non-refundable.)

    If tracking shows that a package has arrived in the destination country but is delayed, held, or unclaimed (for example, due to customs or local delivery issues), it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the local carrier or postal service directly. Ayamani Naturals cannot be held liable once the shipment reaches its destination country.

    Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refund requests for product costs under these circumstances require proof of contact with the carrier and confirmation that resolution was not possible.

  • Portuguese orders are shipped with UPS or CTT alternatively.

    Please be aware that Portuguese delivery addresses can occasionally be difficult for shipping carriers to locate, due to limitations in mapping services or lack of familiarity with certain remote regions.

    If a package is returned for this reason, as unfortunately it happens extremely often:

    • I cannot be held responsible, and

    • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the address provided is complete, accurate, and easily findable by local delivery personnel, potentially by adding extra landmarks for easy findability by the courier.

    • If you are aware that post might have a hard time to reach your door, it is your responsiility to let me know in advance so we can convene on what the best shipping method for you will be.

    • If you are aware that certain postal carriers have a hard time reaching your door, it is your responsibility to let me know in advance so I know not to use said carriers and find an alternative for your delivery.

    Returned packages due to these address-related issues will be subject to the standard return policy:

    • Refund minus original shipping cost, if the package is returned unscathed to me, or

    • Reshipment at the buyer’s expense. even if the order qualified for "free shipping." Please note: "Free shipping" simply means the shipping cost is included in the product price you see listed — it does not mean the shipping was without cost.

    Important: Shipments to PO Boxes (Apartados)
    Please note that UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes (apartados) in Portugal. If a package is returned as undeliverable due to being addressed to a PO Box, the same return policy will apply:

    • Refund minus the original shipping cost, or

    • Reshipment at the buyer’s expense. even if the order qualified for "free shipping." Please note: "Free shipping" simply means the shipping cost is included in the product price you see listed — it does not mean the shipping was without cost.

  • If your package does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please reach out within 14 calendar days of the expected delivery date.
    Claims made after this period may no longer be eligible for refund or reshipment.

  • For international extra-EU orders:

    • Delivery delays caused by customs processing are beyond my control.

    • Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

    • Refunds will not be issued for packages delayed or held by customs or local authorities.

  • An “unclaimed” package is one that was held at a local postal facility but was not collected by the recipient within the designated time, resulting in a return to sender. This is not considered a seller error and will be treated according to the standard return policy.

  • Returned packages will be held for up to 30 days. If no response or reshipment request (with payment) is received within this period, the order will be considered abandoned and no further action will be taken.

  • Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, it is officially considered delivered and the responsibility shifts to the recipient and the carrier. As the sender, I unfortunately have no control or authority over the package at that point.

    If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered, but you have not received it, please note the following:

    • In many cases, the package may have been delivered to a neighbor, left in a safe location, or taken to a local pickup point.

    • Once the package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, it is considered successfully fulfilled on my end.

    • I do not have access to additional delivery details beyond the tracking information provided by the carrier.

    • It is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the shipping carrier (e.g., UPS in your country) directly to inquire about the delivery location.
      As the carrier completed the delivery, they are best positioned to provide further information or GPS confirmation.

    Unfortunately, I am not able to offer refunds or reshipments for orders that are marked as delivered by the carrier.

  • Orders that are shown to be 'in transit' by the track & trace are not eligible for refunds or reshipments at this stage, as this indicates the package is actively on its way to the destination.
